Meeting with Indonesian Chevening alumna

CAM President Nithi Nesadurai met with Indonesian Chevening alumna (LSE, 2006-2007), Dr Farah Purwaningrum, on 11 May in Petaling Jaya. Currently a Fellow at the Institute of Asian Studies at Universiti Brunei Darussalam, Farah was in Malaysia to conduct research on environmental change and energy policy.

Also keen to network with Chevening alumni in Malaysia interested in this topic, Farah (front, in photo) sent an email of enquiry to CAM which led to contact with Nithi who works on environmental issues. They were joined at their discussion over coffee by Siti Rahyla Rahmat, an academic from Universiti Sains Malaysia currently pursuing her PhD studies in Bonn, Germany.
