Talk by Dr Ruben Sakrabani

The Chevening Alumni Malaysia (CAM) Committee hosted a talk by Malaysian Chevening alumnus Dr Ruben Sakrabani at 8pm on Wednesday February 17 in the office of its Vice President in Kuala Lumpur. Currently an academic at Cranfield University in the United Kingdom, he is also a Newton award recipient.

Dr Sakrabani discussed his ongoing research project in Malaysia on increasing the value of biomass, with special reference to oil palm plantations. He also provided information on the Newton award which facilitates research collaboration between research institutions in the United Kingdom and Malaysia. Committee member Gan Pei Ling moderated the discussion among a select audience.
