Women Leadership in the 21st Century

The Committee hosted this Dialogue at 8pm on Tuesday, March 29 at Auditorium Bangunan Getah Asli in Kuala Lumpur. The third event in this corporate series hosted by CAM since 2014, it featured our first woman speaker – LeadWomen CEO, Ms Anne Abraham. It was attended by 90 participants.

Ms Abraham spoke on her work at LeadWomen on changing perceptions and mindsets on the significance of balanced gender representation at the senior leadership and board levels of corporations. She also shared her insights on the Malaysian Government’s initiative to drive for at least 30 per cent women representation in decision-making positions and boards of Malaysian public-listed companies.
The dialogue which followed, moderated by Assistant Hon. Secretary, Ms Laila Wilfred, was lively. The event was concluded at 9.45pm.
